Trust & Transparency

Built on discretion.
Committed to independence.

In an industry built on relationships and confidentiality, we take our responsibilities seriously. This page explains exactly what we do — and what we will never do.

Our commitments

Four principles that govern how we operate.

🔒
01

Absolute discretion

We do not share client names, enquiry details, or transaction information with any third party — including the brokers on our platform — without explicit client consent. We do not advertise who our clients are. Ever.

If you enquire about a vessel, that enquiry is routed anonymously to the listing broker with only the information necessary to respond. Your name is withheld until you choose to share it.

02

Independent advice

YachtAuthorities receives no commission from vessel transactions. Our charter match and brokerage tools are built to find the right vessel for the client — not to push inventory that earns us a higher fee.

Brokers pay a flat subscription for access to the platform. No referral fees, no transaction percentages, no preferred placement. The match score is algorithmic — not commercial.

📋
03

Regulatory compliance

We operate under GDPR (EU) and UK GDPR frameworks. All AI agents that process personal data operate under data processing agreements. Data is stored in EU-region Supabase infrastructure.

Brokers using our compliance tools are reminded that YachtAuthorities compliance reports are advisory, not legal opinions. All AML/KYC decisions remain the broker's responsibility.

🛡
04

Security & infrastructure

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Authentication is JWT-based with short expiry. We do not store payment card data — all billing is handled by Stripe.

Row-Level Security is enforced at the database layer via Supabase. Brokers can only access their own clients' data. No broker can query another broker's records, even if they request it.

What our partners say

The compliance brief saved us two days of manual research before a significant brokerage transaction. The AML summary was thorough and the PDF came ready for our compliance file.

Senior Broker

Monaco-based superyacht brokerage

Discretion is everything in this industry. We tested several intelligence platforms — YachtAuthorities was the only one that did not ask for client names before producing a charter match.
